Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova Reunite in Montenegro, Enjoy Leisurely Stroll to Catch Up

Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova were seen enjoying a leisurely stroll in the town of Kotor, Montenegro, over the weekend. The Serbian and Russian tennis stars have maintained a strong bond over the years.

Sharapova rose to tennis stardom at just 17 years old by defeating two-time defending champion Serena Williams in the 2004 Wimbledon final. Djokovic, on the other hand, came into his own at the age of 20, winning his first Grand Slam by beating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at the 2008 Australian Open.

Sharapova retired from tennis in 2020, while Djokovic continues his remarkable career. Most recently, the World No. 2 competed in the final of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, where he was defeated in straight sets by the defending champion, Carlos Alcaraz.

Leaving his Wimbledon heartbreak behind, Djokovic was seen walking the streets of Montenegro with Sharapova, catching up on their time together. Videos of the duo, dressed in chic white outfits and engaged in casual conversation, surfaced on social media on Saturday, July 20.
