“I’D LIKE TO SEE HIM TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL”: ROGER FEDERER BELIEVES STEFANOS TSITSIPAS CAN RECOVER FROM SLUMP.

The Swiss Maestro made an appearance at the 96th edition of the Academy Awards last weekend and shared his thoughts on Stefanos Tsitsipas’ current form. The Greek star has accumulated a somewhat unimpressive 9-4 record this season, facing a setback with a loss to rising Czech star Jiri Lehecka in the round of 16 at the ongoing Indian Wells event.

Despite recent struggles, Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas should find motivation in the encouraging words from 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer. Tsitsipas has faced challenges, with his last ATP title coming in Los Cabos last August, and experiencing a dip in form towards the end of the 2023 season. Additionally, the former ATP Finals champion has seen a decline in his ranking this year, falling out of the top 10 to World No. 11 on the ATP rankings table.

“Of course, Tsitsipas is still doing well, and I hope he can do great things this year and turn his career around,” said Federer in an interview at the Academy Awards. “I’ve lost to him a lot of times and I think he’s a great player, but I’d like to see him take it to the next level. So I wish him the best.”
