Carlos Alcaraz: “The doubles with Rafael Nadal is going to be a really dream moment for me”

Earlier this month, Carlos Alcaraz told the Tennis Channel that his goal for the 2024 Paris Olympics is to bring home the gold medal for Spain.

He also spoke about his doubles match with Rafael Nadal, calling it a “dream moment” and expressing excitement about competing for gold in that event as well.

“I am going to go for the title, I am going to go just thinking that I will able to win it, that’s my goal to bring a medal to my country, hopefully, the gold medal. And obviously, the doubles with Rafa ( Rafael Nadal) is going to be a really dream moment for me. Obviously, we will try to bring the gold medal again,”

Carlos Alcaraz said

Carlos Alcaraz revealed that his goals for the Paris Olympics go beyond winning medals. He expressed excitement about experiencing the Olympic Village and interacting with fellow Spanish athletes from various sports.

“Well, I have huge expectations for the Olympic Games, not for the result side but to enjoy the experience, being in the village with all the Spanish athletes it’s going to be a really beautiful moment for me. I will try to enjoy as much as I can,”

Carlos Alcaraz added.

In addition to Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz, Spain will also be represented in tennis at the 2024 Paris Olympics by Pedro Martinez, Jaume Munar, Pablo Carreno Busta, Marcel Granollers, Cristina Bucsa, and Sara Sorribes Tormo.
